The students of EEE department have visited to Idaiyankulam village as part of SAS activity, in December 2021. They audited the village for electrical related faults, area of technical upgradation and preliminary energy audit. A total of 39 students and 5 staff members have visited the village. To upgrade the Idaiyankulam village technically, the students from applied lab planned to develop a product “Automatic pumping system using IOT”. Detailed discussion was done with the Idayankulam President, Mr.B.Koil pillai Pandian regading the above. This program was organized by Mr.T.Ravi AP/ EEE, SAS in- charge of EEE department and supported by Dr.A.Ann Rufus-Prof.Marketing, Dr.Arul Jose- Prof.Skill Training, Mr.Rajesh- AP/EEE, Mrs Angeline Jemina- AP/EEE and Mr.C.Pon Nirmal- AP/EEE.
