Overview
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is a distinctive hub of SCAD College of Engineering and Technology, established in 2001, with the mission of imparting strong technical knowledge and nurturing students to become future-ready software professionals.
The department offers a 4-year B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and a 2-year M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. It is supported by a team of well-qualified and experienced faculty members who focus on developing analytical thinking and the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world problems. Reflecting this vision, many faculty members are actively involved in research and development in key areas of Computer Science and Engineering.
The department is equipped with modern laboratories and a wide range of software resources to support academic and research activities. With dedicated faculty, supportive management, and motivated students, the department strives to achieve excellence in engineering education while upholding strong ethical values.
