24-Hours Hackathon Contest – 2020

SCAD College of Engineering and Technology proudly organizes 12-Hours Hackathon programming contest-2020 [level 1] on 22-02-2020 at 10.00 a.m to 10.00 p.m conducted by Applied Lab. The theme behind the contest is to prove the imagination. It provides a platform for the students to turn their ideas and come up with new innovation. The contest fosters creativity, teamwork and innovation in building new software programs and enables the students to test their ability to perform under pressure. Dr. S. Cletus Babu, Chairman and Dr. C. Amali Cletus Babu, Founders, SCAD group of Institutions gave their blessings and Er. C. Arunbabu, Managing Director, motivated us for the inception of the contest. The program was inaugurated by Dr. P. Ebby Darney, Principal, SCADCET, Mr. J. Monimaran, AGM, SCAD campus and Dr. R.Arul Jose, Applied Lab coordinator. Dr. P.Ebby Darney gave a welcome note to the gathering. 60 contestants from various Engineering colleges actively participated in the contest. The participants were provided with corporate ambience to work in. At any time in the entire 12-Hours, 4 eyes were always awake and they actively engaged themselves in the whole duration. This contest creates a thirst among the participants to equip themselves more with programming skills thereby their probability of placement improves. The contestants who get selected in the level-1 are eligible for 24-Hours Hackathon contest and the details of which will be disclosed shortly. The program was coordinated by Mrs. A. Vegi Fernando HOD/CSE, Mr. S.Ram Prasath AP/CSE, Mrs. C.Anuradha AP/CSE and the faculty from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
