The Leadership Team serves as the apex governing authority of SCAD College of Engineering and Technology, providing strategic direction and overseeing all major decisions related to the institution’s growth and development. The team plays a pivotal role in formulating policies, maintaining academic excellence, and ensuring that the college achieves its vision and mission.

Through effective leadership, continuous planning, and a commitment to quality education, the management guides the institution towards achieving higher standards in teaching, research, innovation, and student development.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and support to continuously enhance academic standards and institutional excellence.
  • Review and approve new academic programmes and courses in line with emerging industry and societal needs.
  • Recruit qualified and competent faculty members in accordance with the norms prescribed by regulatory bodies and government authorities.
  • Approve the annual budget and oversee the effective utilization of institutional resources.
  • Institute and support awards, scholarships, fellowships, medals, and certificates to recognize and encourage student achievement.
  • Promote research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry collaboration initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the guidelines and regulations of statutory and accrediting bodies.
  • Constitute committees and undertake initiatives necessary for the effective administration and overall development of the institution.
  • Foster a student-centric environment that supports academic growth, professional development, and personal well-being.
  • Perform such other functions as may be required in the best interests of the college and its stakeholders.
