ESTABLISHMENT OF SC/ST CELL
Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) have been identified as the two most backward groups of Indian Society. They include all the castes, races or tribes, which have been socially, economically and educationally backward. The cell has been established to support and to bring students from such communities to build their academic, self and social wealth. The SC/ST cell of the college was established with the purpose to empower the SC/ST students in the college.
OBJECTIVES:
- To ensure necessities of an environment where all such students feel safe and secure inside the campus.
- To communicate with the students and motivate them for better future
- To encourage the students for their curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and make relief them from inferiority
- To circulate the various scholarships provided by State Government, Central Government, UGC and various Government and Non-Government
- To conduct / co-ordinate training programmes for students in life skills and personality development to help in their
- To aware about various State government and Central Government job opportunities, reservation facility available in these jobs and exam preparation
- To review follow up measures taken to achieve the objectives and targets laid down by the of India and the UGC.
