The SCAD Group of Institutions celebrated Christmas on December 19, 2024, at the SCAD College campus, Cheranmahadevi. The event was graced by Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Sleeva Raj, Administrator of Sunrise Children Village. Under the leadership of Chairman Dr. S. Cletus Babu and Vice-Chairperson Dr. Amali Cletus Babu, the celebration began with a prayer song, scripture reading, and a welcome address by Principal Dr. A. Justin Thiraviam.Rev. Fr. Sleeva Raj highlighted the significance of Christmas, followed by blessings and greetings from Dr. S. Cletus Babu. Gifts were distributed to underprivileged senior citizens, and prizes were awarded to students for their creative Christmas crib designs. Cultural performances and cake distribution added to the festive spirit.Prominent attendees included SCAD leaders, staff, and over 1,500 students with their parents. The well-organized event created joyous memories for all.
