On behalf of the Women Empowerment Club, Mrs. I Santhanamari, B.Sc.,B.Ed.,DSMA, Tirunelveli District Amateur Silambam Association Joint Secretary, Agasthiyar Silambam School Secretary – Palayapettai, led a session on “To Overcome Weakness of Women” on August 29, 2024, at 10:30 AM.Students learned how to combat the stereotypes of women as being less than full of potential; it’s important to challenge the societal norms and presumptions that have historically done so. In order to remove these barriers, empowerment via economic independence, legal protections, and education is essential.We can shift the narrative from one of weakness to one of strength and resilience by promoting equal opportunities and fostering environments where women may thrive.Inspiring women to assume leadership positions and defying gender norms also helps to build a more diverse and equal society, where Women’s abilities are valued and rewarded on par with those of males.
